Community Engagement Based Animal Control Programs
Saving the lives of more pets is the collective responsibility of communities, not just the job of shelters and animal control agencies. Everyone needs to get involved. Gaining your community’s trust and inspiring them to support you will lay the groundwork for long-term collaboration and bigger community impact. In this workshop, you'll learn how to reduce animal intake and call volume and save more lives while improving public perception of your department. We'll also talk about the difference between outreach and engagement and discuss how enforcement-based programs fail to provide sustainable solutions for animals and communities. Click here to watch.
