1. Approval as a Partner confers no rights, privileges or obligations other than what is set forth on the Network Partner website. Such approval does not denote a legal partnership.
2. Partners in Best Friends Network program ("Partner/s") are required to meet applicable eligibility requirements.
3. Approval of any Partner application is at the sole discretion of Best Friends Animal Society ("Best Friends").
4. Partner status may be terminated at any time and for any reason by either Best Friends or by the Partner.
5. Data reporting is a requirement for continued participation in Network programming. All Partners are required to submit an annual statistics report with information on intakes, outcomes, spay/neuters, and other activities as outlined in the reporting forms provided. Best Friends reserves the right to require monthly data reporting as a participation requirement for certain Best Friends program opportunities and shelter support services. With the launch of Shelter Pet Data Alliance, Best Friends Network Partners will be required to submit their data using this online platform.   
6. The following are registered trademarks of Best Friends: “Best Friends Animal Society”, “Best Friends”, “No More Homeless Pets”, “Save Them All”, “Strut Your Mutt”, and the animal face logo. Partner agrees that Best Friends shall remain the owner of the Network, the Best Friends Network program, and all physical and intellectual property associated therewith, and all content, trademarks, brands, logos, symbols and other data associated with the same. Partners shall not be deemed to have acquired any interest in the same, other than the right to participate in the Best Friends Network program as provided for herein.
7. Partners retain ownership of their trademarks, brands, logos, symbols and other intellectual property (“Marks”). However, Partner Marks will be displayed on the Best Friends Network website and may  be used to reference the Partner in Best Friends communications. Partner grants Best Friends a non-exclusive license to use its Marks in connection with this Agreement; the license expires upon termination of this Agreement. However, upon termination, Best Friends shall begiven a reasonable period of time in which to remove the Marks from the Best Friends Network website and other communications. Notwithstanding the above, Best Friends agrees that, unless the Partner provides written consent,  the Partner’s Marks will only be used on the Partner’s individual Network Partner page, and if the Partner registers or proactively participates in individual events or activities available to Partners (e.g. Strut Your Mutt).  The Partner acknowledges and agrees that Best Friends may use the Partner’s name, whether online or in other forms of media, in acknowledging or reporting on Partner entities’ work and activities.
8. Partners must remain in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing charitable and/or government organizations, including those related to solicitation of funds from the public and other charitable fundraising regulations, to the extent such regulations are applicable to the Partner.
9. Best Friends reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or to terminate the Best Friends Network program entirely.
10. Best Friends disclaims any and all express or implied warranties relating to the Best Friends Network program, including warranties of fitness and merchantability, and shall have no liability for damages incurred by Partner as a result of its use of or participation in the Best Friends Network Partner program.
