Michael Sonsalla, operations manager

I’m Michael Sonsalla and I currently live right outside of Philadelphia with my handsome boy, Mr. Mak. For several years, I worked at the Brandywine Valley SPCA. My experience there included working kennels, managing intakes, coordinating transports, managing a shelter/pet resort, and working in accounting. 

Additionally, I was part of a team that worked in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, to improve lifesaving in that community. With the help of Best Friends, that project saved countless lives, and it was an incredible experience. 

Now, as an official part of the Best Friends national shelter embed programs team as a Manager of Operations – Embed Project, I can continue the mission of helping other shelters to help Save Them All!
