Reporting Requirements for Grant Recipients

Grant recipients will be assigned reports via our grant management platform. Emails are sent to the assignee as reports are assigned.

Please read the following reporting requirements carefully as failure to submit timely and accurate reports on the progress of your project can impact the ability to receive future funding.

If the reports should be assigned to someone other than the person who submitted the application, please email networkgrants@bestfriends.org.

Save Them All Reporting Requirements

Monthly Reporting

Monthly reporting requirements depend on if your project impacts the lifesaving gap at your own shelter/rescue or if your project impacts another shelter's lifesaving gap.

  • If your project impacts only your own shelter or rescue, you will need to keep your monthly stats up to date in Shelter Pet Data Alliance (SPDA).

  • If your project impacts the lifesaving gap at a shelter(s) other than your own, you are required to provide monthly overall stats on intakes and outcomes for each shelter.
    • Monthly reports must include the following for each impacted shelter:
      • the shelter's dog intakes for the month
      • the shelter's dog live outcomes for the month
      • the shelter's dog other outcomes for the month
      • the shelter's cat intakes for the month
      • the shelter's cat live outcomes for the month
      • the shelter's cat other outcomes for the month
