Jennah Billeter, strategist, eastern region
Jennah is a Strategist for the East Region, covering Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia. A seasoned animal welfare professional with over 14 years of experience, Jennah's passion for helping homeless animals was ignited during her time as a foster for a local rescue. This experience inspired her to dedicate her career to building life-saving programs. Prior to joining Best Friends, Jennah held various roles at the Washington Humane Society and Humane Rescue Alliance in Washington DC, focusing on areas such as intake, animal flow, transport, volunteer and foster programming.
Jennah holds degrees from the University of Maryland, Virginia Tech, and George Mason University. A Maryland native, she currently resides in the state with a lively household of seven beloved pets. Jennah enjoys a good puzzle, gentle hiking, and nurturing her plant collection.
Jennah loves building relationships with shelters and rescue organizations. She is eager to share her expertise and work collaboratively to save more cats and dogs.
