Jillian Lucia, specialist, network engagement - email and web

Jillian Lucia is the Specialist, Network Engagement - Email and Web. She currently lives in Orlando, FL, with her two rescue cats, Sophie and Kiki, but has lived practically all over Florida with some pit stops in the Caribbean and Shanghai, China. Previously, Jillian’s career in digital marketing has taken her outside of the animal welfare industry, where she specialized in email marketing, content creation, and web design for clients across the nation.  

However, from a very young age, Jillian has been incredibly passionate about animals and has spent much of her life volunteering at her local equine centers, animal shelters, and veterinary offices. With a background in animation, filmmaking, and storytelling, she is ecstatic to be working with Best Friends to build profound, genuine connections with our Network Partners and increase lifesaving for pets in every community.

In her spare time, you can find Jillian with her nose stuck in a book, teaching herself to crochet, trying Orlando’s wackiest restaurants, or on the lookout for her next rescue.
