Carolyn Fitzgerald, senior strategist
Carolyn Fitzgerald is a senior strategist for the East Region covering Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Florida, where she works with shelters to implement proven lifesaving strategies. She held prior roles in Best Friends as Senior Manager of the New York City Lifesaving Center and Senior Manager of the East Coast Corridor Lifesaving Program, where satellite foster programs were first founded. Carolyn's experience comes from a tenure at ACCT Philly as the Director of Lifesaving. She oversaw lifesaving outcomes and community engagement. She was also the Director of Operations at Morris Animal Refuge.
Carolyn holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from Temple University and lives in Philadelphia with her assorted animal companions.
