Animal Shelter Manager- We are seeking a full-time facility manager. Job duties include oversight of all day to day operations including but not limited to: all employee supervision including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and dismissing; overseeing maintenance and documentation of facility and equipment; oversight of inventory and purchasing; and promoting positive interaction with peer facilities and the general public. Requirements: Must have documented employee management experience. Experience working with dogs and cats is preferred. Compensation:$40,000-$50,000/yearly based on education and experience. IDAPI Program Dog Trainer- The person in this position will be responsible for the successful training and support of all shelter dogs enrolled in or graduated from the Inmate Dog Alliance Project of Idaho (IDAPI) program. Dogs in the program are trained at three men’s correctional institutions in the Boise area. The IDAPI program dog trainer will serve as the liaison between the Idaho Humane Society and the Idaho Department of Correction staff and offender trainers.
