Cassidy Vaughn, operations manager

I am originally from the Galveston, Texas area, but spent most of my life in Mustang, Oklahoma. My love for rescue started young, as I was constantly bringing home stray animals (sorry, Mom and Dad!). As soon as I was old enough, I started volunteering at my local humane society, which quickly turned into my working there. I also had the privilege of working for a rescue that opened the first non-profit full-service veterinary clinic in Oklahoma for a year before figuring out that I missed being front and center in animal welfare, so I returned to the humane society as a manager of their Intake Facility. I am now using my experience as a Manager of Operations – Embed Project for Best Friends in Oklahoma City. 

Some of my favorite things are spending time with my pets (5 dogs and 3 cats!), fostering dogs with behavioral needs or neonate kittens and puppies, and relaxing with my fiancé!
