While I've always been an animal lover, my passion for helping shelter pets grew after I moved to Los Angeles and started volunteering at one of the city shelters. It was then that I decided I needed to dedicate my career to helping homeless pets and eventually started working for Best Friends LA in 2012 as a dog caregiver.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to wear many different hats within the organization including: animal care, adoptions, foster and volunteer programs, shelter intervention, events and outreach, and coalition building. I'm very grateful and excited that my path has lead me to working with our partners in the pacific region. I look forward to the collaboration and innovation as we continue to push the boundaries of lifesaving.
I still reside in sunny Los Angeles along with my three dogs - Riley, Martini, and Kiko.
