Amanda M. Laraway, Mid-Atlantic regional specialist
District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia
After spending 15 years in corporate America, I decided to take a leap of faith and left my career to pursue my lifelong passion in animal welfare. I joined Best Friends in 2018 as a data specialist where I was able to utilize shelter data and statistics for tracking and decision making. In my new role as the Mid-Atlantic regional specialist, I am excited to be able to develop strategic relationships and engage network partners and non-partners in working toward 2025!
I reside in Carroll County, Maryland with my husband, Matt, two daughters, Ava and Charlotte, and three rescue fur babies, Clarabelle, Frankie and Gracie. I spend my free time volunteering at BARCS, Carroll County Humane Society, and the Transformation Center.
