How about a game of Frisbee?

March 18, 2008 : 11:12 PM
Lucky dogs in Edmonds, Washington now have an off-leash park where they can interact with other canines and share a spirited game of Frisbee. This type of facility is especially important for dog owners living in condos or apartments, with limited exercise opportunities for their pets. This Dog Park was nearly a year in the making: securing the 501(c)3 designation (all donations are tax-deductible) and city approval. The park is maintained by volunteers, with a volunteer manager to encourage pet owner participation in maintenance. If you would like to establish a off-leash park in your community, email the webmaster for Edmonds Off Leash Park at http://www.olae.org.
