President/CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, the first "No Kill" shelter in Kansas City (1994).
"We are all here together and alone" best describes my conviction that there is a connectedness and a right relationship to be fostered between humans and other animals. As far as we know, the life we find on earth is all there is. While I hope we find someday that life is indeed a regular part of this universe ( alot of wasted space otherwise), I acknowledge and respect other sentient beings sharing this landscape with me now.
