Born & raised on the Gulf Coast of TX & have been living in MA for a number of years. First learned of Best Friends from my aunt around 2000; when she passed away in '04 both my brother & I became supporters of BF. Mar'08 we visited/volunteered to see what BF was all about, staying in Cottage7. Grandpa Bernie, Harrison Fjord, Sprocket the Rocket, Scooter, Thumper, kitten Charlotte, dear Joey (Taylor's boy now!), all the staff , mystical, beautiful Angel Canyon and the willingness of one of the founders to talk in depth with us each day at lunch made this a life-changing week for me. I've been volunteering at animal shelters ever since. I enjoy traveling with my spouse, swimming, photography, TCM (because they care about & restore old movies, not just show them), Vivaldi (so joyful)& Bach (so moving), and, of course, my work at the shelters.
