I have been a volunteer at a local cat shelter since 2001 and currently "work" at the shelter twice a week. I also foster kittens, one of whom is featured in my photo.
When I began volunteering, I had one cat. Now I have seven, plus assorted fosters.
My husband and I have been volunteering twice a year at Best Friends for the past couple of years, and we adopted a special needs (cerebellar) kitty here.
