I volunteer at the local MSPCA, which is Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA, as a dog walker. I love it, but it's very hard work in the summer! I've met some really great dogs that I've really valued my time with. I hope I make their stay at the shelter easier and more relaxing and fun. It can be a stressful situation for pets in a shelter, and I've happily seen some very shy and scared or depressed dogs come out of their shell.
