I'm a lover of all animals but currently share my home with 2 cats. Montana Belle who is 8-years-old and was found at about 6-weeks-old in the desert of New Mexico and Rocky Lee who is 1-year-old and was found at 7-weeks-old when some kids had him tied to a fence and were beating him with sticks. We arrived just as they had poored kerosene on him and lit the match. I took him to the vet and though he still has some neurological problems he is a happy and healthy kitten. He does love giving Montana who is very shy and docile and a CHICKEN a hard time by continuous chasing and jumping on her. I know he is playing but she just does not want any of it and her life has become terrible since he's come to live with us. I would love any suggestions you have to remedy this problem. I have never gone looking for a pet, they seem to find me when they are hurt or need a home, which is fine with me. I think they make the best pets and I love them to pieces. I've lived in 17 states and my pets go anywhere I go. At times my security deposit has been more than my rent or it was just easier to buy a place. It's sort of nice being settled back home in the mid-west for a time though. I've been a volunteer at Best Friends and can't wait to make it back again sometime. Keep up the good work and I'll continue to do all I can.
