This handsome boy is my pride and joy. I rescued him from our local dog pound five years ago this September 11, 2008. He was abandoned in a little "spot in the road" 98 miles from where I live. How he made his way to the dog pound here is unknown to me - but I'm sure glad he did arrive there.

I am particularly fond of the Guardian Angel program and currently am following the progress of one particular dog on that site.

Since creating this profile, I adopted the Guardian Angel doggie mentioned above on 11/24/06 - none other than the beautiful, although shy, Mr. Genghis - now known as Tuggs. Tuggs has worked very hard and made many huge strides in his life. He is stepping right out of the shy doggie part of him, and is realizing the world is not always horrible. Thank heaven his original rescuers, along with Best Friends, gave him the second chance in life he needed.

Both doggies are very near and dear to my heart, and I can't even begin to imagine my life without them. What a blessing and joy it is to have these wonderful beings.

I hope to be able to help with the transport of any animals who need to cross Wyoming. I also hope to be called upon to conduct home checks for Best Friends when someone in Wyoming, or any of the nearby states wants to adopt a Best Friends dog.
