I volunteer with a rescue group called Roxies Fund, Inc. They pull dogs from shelter when they are running out of time and get them in foster homes and take care of their medical needs and find them a forever home. I like to read everything I can about dog psychology and training and dogs in general. I have two grown sons who I am very proud of and who are very compassionate young men. I have three dogs. Toby is a hound-husky mix, Cody is a Korean Jindo and Maddie is a smooth collie mix. They are all rescues. Cody is quite a challenge. He is what they refer to as a primitive breed and I don't think his original owners knew what they were getting and may have treated him badly. I have been working with him for the past three years to overcome some problems and we have made a lot of progress. He still has "issues" with strange dogs, but likes my dogs fortunately.
