I live with my husband and two cats, Meesha and Zachary. I have such a passion for all animals, especially cats. In my estimation, animals are among the most wonderful creatures in God's creation. I believe God gave us pets so we could experience their unconditional love and get a small idea of how much God loves us.
I do not believe animals are sentient beings but I do believe that, for the faithful, our beloved pets will be in heaven with us. I also believe as stewards of God's creation we have an obligation to care for animals both wild and domestic. Animals and all of nature, for that matter, are in the complete will of God and cooperate with Him fully. The Bible tells us that God will restore all of His creation in eternity; animals are a part of that creation.
