In their second rescue from a puppy mill, Dreampower Animal Rescue took in dogs from a Missouri breeder who could no longer care for his animals. The man said he has cancer and planned to drown his dogs, as he could no longer care for them. Instead, rescuers offered to take the dogs and find loving homes for them.
Dreampower is located in Colorado Springs, CO, and is seeking support in the form of donations and adoptive homes for the dogs from Missouri. After life in a puppy mill and escaping drowning, they will certainly be lucky to be placed in a loving home--the first ever for some.
There is an adoption event planned for July 28th; for more information,
