Ft. Worth Spay/Neuter Clinic a Success

July 12, 2008 : 9:57 PM
Over 3,200 animals fixed in only six months!

By Stacey Mitchel-Taylor, Executive Director of Texas Coalition for Animal Protection

The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection thanks each of you for your support of our new Fort Worth, Texas location. Since its opening on January 23 of this year, we have sterilized more than 3,200 animals. Our average number of pets sterilized each day is 42.

The Fort Worth program is located at 2421 Westport Parkway, Suite 400. It is right off I-35 at exit number 66. The clinic is very near Alliance Airport and Cabela's.

To better accommodate the large volume of pets we are seeing, we are now open for service Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All pets must have an appointment for surgery.

We also offer low cost vaccines each Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Vaccines, as well as heartworm and FeLV/FIV testing, are offered without an appointment.

We sincerely appreciate your support of our community programs and your work in the humane community.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

1. Be a part of the solution to pet overpopulation; have your companion animals spayed or neutered. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment or would like more information about any of our low cost programs, please contact us at either our Denton clinic, 940-566-5551, or our Ft. Worth clinic, 817-837-4500.

2. If you are not in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but would still like information about low-cost sterilization options, please see the SPAY/TEXAS website.
