More and more animals surrendered to Hubbard-Blount County

Incredibly, each week more and more animals are brought in by Blount County residents to the Hubbard school drop off each week. Animals dropped off at Hubbard are transported to Loudon County Animal Shelter where Blount County has a contract to house and care for the abandoned and neglected animals turned in to Hubbard. This week a host of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens were turned in. Many will have to be euthanized due to illness or just because there is not enough space to house them. Please contact the Loudon County shelter if you can give a home to one of these adorable animals. Many already are house trained and know basic commands. Some of the cats dropped off are already declawed. Foster opportunities are also available if you can foster animals. The Loudon County Shelter can be reached at:
