Have fun and support homeless pets at Mt. Pleasant's Mutts Mania on Sept 23
Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter's Guinness challenge called "The Day the Dogs Stood Still" is happening at Lurker Park in East Hanover, NJ on September 23 from 12pm to 4pm. The current record for the most dogs standing/sitting/lying still for 2 minutes is 627, and Mt. Pleasant is looking to raise money for their homeless pets and beat this record!
This is all part of the Mt. Pleasant Mutts Mania event which features the Shelter Showcase Pet Adoption Expo. Meet pets for adoption from shelters and rescue groups from across the New Jersey including dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and ferrets. Enjoy shopping for great gifts and enter raffles to support participating rescue groups and shelters. It's also a great opportunity to learn about volunteer opportunities for all ages. We graciously thank Petfinder.com for sponsoring the pet adoption expo.
Entrance fees to the Mutts Mania event are $10 for adults and free for kids under 18. The Guinness Challenge is an additional $10 donation with a commemorative t-shirt included. Each participant in the Guinness Challenge needs to include one person and one dog. All proceeds go to help homeless pets at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.
