National Homeless Animals Day

ACS lowers adoption fees for special day.

Saturday, August 16 is National Homeless Animals Day. To help San Antonio’s homeless animals, the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS) is lowering adoption fees on dogs and cats. Giving a good home to a homeless shelter animal will be a bargain: Only $50 for dogs and $15 for cats.

Viewing and adoption hours at ACS: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition to the ACS shelter location, the public will be able to view adoptables at four additional locations:

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

♠ Petco, 12651 Vance Jackson MAP
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
