NEW WEBINAR SERIES: Grief Circle for Animals - May 1st

April 27, 2008 : 8:10 PM
Introducing, a NEW Webinar series, team hosted by Kris Haley, Best Friends Manager of Multifaith Outreach and Reverend Doctor Mitzi Lynton, co-author of A Religious Proclamation for Animal Compassion.

by Kris Haley, Best Friends Manager of Multifaith Outreach

Our NEW Webinar series is for people who have experienced any type of loss, grief or illness with either a companion animal or with the animals of he world.

These Webinars will be online meetings are invited to share their stories about the loss they have...or are...experiencing, in a safe and accepting environment.

We would like to emphasize that individuals experiencing any type of animal loss are welcome to attend. This can include animals who have run away as well as those who have crossed the rainbow bridge. This circle also extends to those whose animals are experiencing a loss of health associated with the conditions frequently experienced by our animal companions.

Finally, we also wish to extend an invitation to those who experience grief or compassion fatigue in more of a global way...due to the plight of many of the animals with whom we share the planet.

All who feel that they wish to share in this circle of compassion, are equally welcome!

Both Kris and Rev. Dr. Mitzi have significant background in this very important field. Kris has six years of experience as a "Pet Grief Support Service" hotline volunteer with the Companion Animals Association of Arizona and Dr. Mitzi has also been trained in bereavement support by the Red Cross. Both Kris and Dr. Mitzi were instrumental in supporting many of the survivors of Hurricane Katrina who experienced the loss of their beloved family members…both human and animal.

Join us for this groundbreaking event, as modern technology allows us to encircle the planet with compassion during our first Grief Support Circle for Animals.
