Celebrate St. Catrick's Day

February 28, 2008 : 9:01 AM
Asheville Humane Society celebration runs March 1 through March 16

The St. Catrick’s Day celebration runs Saturday, March 1 through Sunday, March 16 during normal adoption hours. On Monday, March 17, the shelter will be open for extended St. Catrick’s Day hours from 11 am to 8 pm. And on March 17, double the luck ‘o the Irish by adopting two cats for one adoption fee.

Adoption fees are $50 - $100 and include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, a free exam by a local veterinarian, and one month of free veterinary insurance. Visit AHS' website to get a preview of these “Irish” sweeties, www.ashevillehumane.org; but to really experience their "Irish" magic, you’ll need to pay a visit to the shelter at 72 Lee’s Creek Rd.
