New Extended Hours for Person County Animal Control

Much encouragement from animal lovers in Person County has brought about a change that has been long awaited. The Person County Animal Shelter will now extend their hours to more friendly hours for adoption.

The shelter is now open on Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and on Wednesday until 6:00pm. YEAH!! This is based on a six month trial period. They are asking volunteers to help on Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons to accomodate this new schedule.

Please do consider to offer your time in effort to make this a succesful trial period and ongoing schedule. These extended hours are ONLY for adoption of these precious companions. Lets all work together in increasing the adoption rate.
