in the cities of Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. To report suspected animal cruelty in these three cities, call the MHS Cruelty Hotline at (313) 872-3401, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. A detailed voice mail message can also be left after hours.
Be sure to leave all the information requested on the voice mail message, including the complaint address and major cross streets. While calls can remain anonymous, we ask that you please include your phone number in case additional information is needed. For cases of suspected animal cruelty or neglect in other areas, contact your local animal control/police department as soon as possible. michiganhumane.org
