i'm about to turn nineteen.
i've always loved animals and since i was little, the only one who accepted me was my dogs and cats. but almost three years ago, my dog balto who i had since i was four or five, we had to put him to sleep because he had cancer and was in an immense amount of pain.
my second dog, cassie, my pitbull, also died of cancer about a year later. but i think she also died of heartbreak because her and balto was so close. ( they were a couple even though they were both neutered.)
i know it's sad and i'm crying right now, But i know they're in a better place and i hope one day i'll see them again and any other animals i have in the future.

my current dog, chura, just celebrated her second birthday. she's really a joy to our family, especially since she came to us in a time of despair. my photo is of my baby girl.

i hope to one day open an animal shelter in the house we're moving into.

i really do get sick when i hear of all the abuse that dogs and any animals in general go through at the hands of humans. it's sick and horrible.
