I'm originally from San Diego but life brought me to Northern Alabama where I work in the legal field. I didn't know BF even existed until after my parents made a donation to honor the memory of Snakey, our GSD/coyote mix who crossed to the Bridge on April 22, 2006. I've met so many wonderful people throught this network...and I try to do small things to honor Snakey's memory. I may not change the world but I can do my best to be a good KAWA (keyboard animal welfare advocate) and try to help other animals lead the type of life Snakey had with us.
I am writing this note to all who might happen upon Southerndogmom's site here at Best Friends, either by accident or by choice.
This site belongs to a very special lady. I do not think she realizes how special she is. I have had the pleasure for the past couple of years to be able to call her a friend. Her love and committment to animals has captured my greatest respect.
I sincerely hope you will not leave this webpage without leaving a note thanking her for all of her time and unselfish effort on behalf of our beloved critters.
