Hi, I have been an animal lover and advocate for as long as I can remember. I am originally from New York where I worked as a teacher and was a member of the NYC Humane Education Committee. My passion is writing about animals and animal related issues.
My most recent "claim to fame" was my involvement in a Hurricane Katrina animal reunion which was recently shown on Animal Planet. The story was incredibly gratifying and has given me the pleasure of getting to know some very wonderful people and of course animals.
