Chris is 26 years old and was born in Presque Isle, Maine. His family moved to Central Maine when he was young, and he now resides in Auburn with his faithful pack. He takes pleasure in camping, multiple sports, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys learning more about dog training and rehabilitation, and how it can be used to reduce the number of dogs in shelters, by retaining them in their suitable homes. He connects very well with “troubled” dogs to make them feel safe and trusting, and to help them work toward reaching their ideal behavior. Chris’ main interests within animal welfare topics are rehabilitation for aggressive or disabled dogs, home retention, and animal behavior and training. Chris works every day to find more ways to stop unnecessary euthanization in shelters and to ensure that No Dog is Left Behind. He advocates strongly for dogs who have no voice, and sometimes, no identity, ensuring that they have a loving family and are granted the life that they deserve.
