involved in TNR,feral socialization,s/nrecovery in
San Francisco from 2000-2005.
Love all animals but have only cats at this time
(11,all rescues) Currently residing in an area where
understanding of non-humans is limited to use of
them as workers, food or regarding some Species
as pests.Have offered to volunteer at local P.D.-run
shelter &also to neighboring countie's Humane
Society &NOT BEEN TAKEN UP ON IT.Trying not to be so angry about it & try to find constructive ways
to educate,etc
My cat-children are my great solace (5 of them are
locals, 6 came with me from SF. My housemates/
landlord have 13 cats all local rescues.All kids are allowed out only in secure yard they like to visit back
& forth between my part of the house & my friends
their back-door kitty-door & my kitchen window They
make a very good job of getting along together(with
of course the odd bridge-troll game,etc)
I have a certification in phlebotomy, volunteer with
the hospital auxilliary( want to find ways to use this
as a local consciousness-raising op.
Also I have some theatre background.I'll post a pic
when I have the means to do so. Thank you all
