I moved to Kanab June, 1985. When I first arrived, I was doing construction work here in the canyon building the old cat lodgings (now all gone) and the Village. I loved learning all the different aspects of what it takes to construct a building from the ground up. At the same time, I learned to do daily treatments for the dogs and cats, giving pills, shots and fluiding. It was a very different experience from what I use to do in Los Angeles which was working for a retail travel agency. I married Steven here at Angel's Landing on Sept. 29, 1985.I now work down in the Member Relations Dept. at the Hamlet. I take care of most of the small mailings we send from here and small print jobs. Also when time allows, I enter donations and address corrections. Working here at Best Friends and seen so many changes happen, WOW! what a great place to work and live in. I'm truly a very lucky gal being here with my husband Steven (in publications), our dog Tommy and our 10 cats.
