I have six rescued cats, most with special needs. I am also an artist, and my cats serve as models in many of my paintings. I sell my artwork and donate a percentage of my sales to animal rescue groups. I began painting as grief therapy after losing my one-eyed cat Esmeralda in 1998. I'm single, so my cats are my family.
My feline family currently includes five girls (Fiona, Dominique, Tallulah Jane, Annabel and Genevieve) and one boy (Riley).
I also love dogs, but with my work schedule and long commute, it isn't feasible for me to adopt one now. That's the first thing I'll do when I retire! Meanwhile, I enjoy spending time with my canine niece and nephew, Halo and Keefer, both longcoat German Shepherds.
