I developed this identity while I working with Best Friends "Locate Your Lost Katrina Pet" event in New Orleans, Dec. 16-18, 2005.

I have had Siberian Huskies since 1980, and exhibit my dogs at AKC events. I have bred 16 AKC champions under the Richlynn Siberians name, and finished an additional 3 more females from other kennels. I began rescuing Siberians about 8 years ago, arranging foster homes, and transportation to new locations. As of April, 2007, we are still trying to get custody of one Siberian that is greatly missed by her 5 year owner. She was stolen from N.O. East during the flood, when the owners were forced to leave their beloved Siberians behind, after staying with them for 3 years. I have renewed hope that we will reunite these owners with their Siberian, and get her away from the thief that came into N.O. illegally and handpicked certain dogs to take to Mississippi.
I love this breed, they are such comical, sweet dogs. Not at all the vicious animal that the Top Ten Most vicious animals list has them on. It is the husky mixes that cause fighters. Siberians love children, their owners, and other breeds.
