I am a pediatric audiologist who has always been crazy about dogs and cats. My soft spot is large senior animals (I have 2 senior dogs). All my animals come from our local Humane Society, and my goal right now is to help our local group build their own building where the dogs and cats can be housed. Currently our dogs have no central place and are in foster homes, which is great, but limits the number of dogs we can save. I want to visit Best Friends both to volunteer and to see the octagonal dog buildings in Dogtown to get some ideas for our building project.
