I am an animal lover with my favorite animal being the dog. My favorite dog is the Labrador Retriever. I have adopted two senior rescued labrador retrievers that live with me. My last rescued lab died of cancer. I also volunteer with a labrador retriever rescue group called L.E.A.R.N. (Labrador Education And Rescue Network, www.labadoption.org), which covers northern IL & southern WI. I am happy to say that in the past year L.E.A.R.N. has adopted out approximately 85 labrador retrievers. I am proud to be a volunteer for such an organization & have decided to also show my support for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.
