If you look in the photo above you will see 3 dogs now, newest is Dolly Faith in the middle. She came to STRMN from a puppy mill in WI, and I was only to temp foster her for 5 days! :) At her vet visit, she was diagnosed with, in her case, a stress induced immune disease, and almoost died. The vet thinks that the stress of being adopted now would trigger a relapse that she probably would not survive, so her home is with us now. Today you would never know that she spent almost 10 years in a wire cage, she loves to walk, runs up to people on the street for pets, barks at the door to go out, and is just enjoying being a dog. I LOVE happy endings!!
