I am a wife and mother of a 13 year son. I adore dogs and have 2 rescue dogs-Skittles, a Jack Russell/Corgi mix, and Colin, an Aussie Shepherd/Chow mix. I have worked in special education and been involved in various types of volunteer work, including a program for children with autistm, the public school system, an animal rescue, an environmental newscolumn for my neighborhood newsletter, and a hospital pet visitation program (with Skittles). I enjoy reading,writing, music, hiking, camping, animals, nature, travel, spiritual pusuits, energy work, and furthering my education as a student of life. I write children's picture books about dogs and upon publication want to donate a portion of the proceeds as well as supplies of books to animal rescue organizations, children's hospitals, homeless shelters, etc.
