My wife and I have been members of Best friends for nearly two decades. We rescued two of these crazy dogs about the same time .Hobbes is a McNab and Gyp is obviously a Border Collie. Thank God they are finally slowing down some! (ages 16 and 15)Our latest Rescues are Barney, a "Border Beagle" and Mandy (Miss Mischief) who is a Canaan Dog. (ages 7 and 3)I have loved dogs ever since as a boy I worked for my great uncle who was a vet in Bay City ,Mich. I am retired(?) and my wife works at a law firm in Cleveland. We are looking forward to watching this website grow and hope to see all the local shelters,rescue groups,trainers and others join. Let's use this wonderful new tool to it's fullest potential, folks!
