2008 - My husband and I unexpectedly got involved with TNR almost 3 years ago when a mother cat (Snow) brought her 5 kittens to our yard. They found that under our deck they would be safe. My husband is allergic so bringing them inside has never been an option. We learned about TNR and the rest is history! We have TNR'ed over 30 cats in the neighborhood and there is a core family of 5 that lives with us in our yard and on our porch all year round. In the winter, the porch is enclosed and they have HEATED cat houses! They are semi-domesticated with us and we feel so lucky and blessed that they came into our lives.

2009 - With the addition of 3 HEPA filters in our house I am happy to say that the cats are able to come in the house for periods of time without causing my husband any allergic reactions!
