Our kids are grown, so our 2 dogs are our kids. We take them almost everywhere with us. We also each have Harley Davidson motorcycles and a 72 Dodge Challenger drag car which also keeps us traveling. Due to the size of our "kids" we travel by motorhome and tow the toys.
