I came to Best Friends in 1999 to work with the Wild and Feathered Friends who live here. Shortly after arriving I found myself drawn into the wildlife rehabilitation program. I spent the first five years working with our licensed rehabber and our zoo vet. And became the primary wildlife rehabilitator for Best Friends in 2005. I currently have two dogs who live with me in my home just south of the border (maybe three soon). And have finally stopped wondering just when I am going to start using my philosophy degree.
