My "real" job is being a school counselor 10 months of the year. My unofficial job is as an animal lover and shelter volunteer. I first became intrigued by Best Friends after Hurricane Katrina and have been inspired by and excited about the organization ever since. I volunteer at a local humane society and will be taking my volunteer experience to Best Friends for the first time in March 2008!
