Welcome to the Best Friends Network!I'm just your typical celtophile (my own word...i think...! It means a fan of all things Celtic, by the way) who was the puppy mom at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah for 4 and a bit years. I relocated departments (and states) in July 2006, and now I'm the Assistant Volunteer Manager for the Community Programs and Services Department of Best Friends Animal Society. I manage the Best Friends Network Volunteers, so if you're interested in volunteering with The Best Friends Network, I'm the person to contact! In total, I have worked for Best Friends for just over 7 years, and I love it.After leaving Kanab I was lucky enough to live in the Boston area for a couple of years, which was a big lifestyle change after being in a small town in the desert for so long! Now, I'm currently based out of Kansas City, MO. Life is interesting, and definitely never dull!My husband and I are owned by a shiba inu mix, Sadie, who is currently a furry only-child...and happy to stay that way.
