I'm just a normal person who has fallen head-over-heals in love with animal since I adopted Buddy (yellow lab) four years ago. Within 15 months of adopting Buddy, Bella (black lab) and Jake (Beagle, "the boss") had joined my family.
As I learned to take care of my animals, I began to learn the plight of many other animals in my community and around the world.
I try to do my part to help by volunteering as an adoption counselor and doggie/kitty video-maker at my local SPCA. Love of animals has also moved me toward a vegetarian lifestyle, with the goal of eventually becoming a vegan (a good vegan cheese would go a long way toward helping me make that adjustment :-).
