I work for Best Friends Animal Society with Los Angeles Programs, coordinating with other BF staffers the various adoption festivals and fundraisers we do in LA. The best part of my job is working with the many incredible volunteers we have, some who have been with Best Friends far longer than I have. Without the help of these amazing and hardworking individuals, our events would not be nearly as successful as they have been. We also have huge support from many volunteers for Date-With-A-Dog, a short term foster program for our rescued doggies.

I also work with many independent rescuers in the area, helping them find homes for their rescued animals by posting them on various adoption websites like Petfinders, etc. - and also encouraging them to bring their animals to our weekly mobile adoptions, providing them with a safe and reliable venue where they can adopt their animals to wonderful, forever homes.

Best Friends has allowed me to make substantial positive changes regarding the adoption and welfare of LA's stray, abandoned, abused and neglected animals. For that, I am eternally grateful.
