As the Volunteer Manager for Best Friends' Community Programs & Services, I am excited to be a support for your experiences here. My particular focus is engaging you in local animal welfare activities, providing you with additional ways to make a difference, and connecting you with related resources. My husband, a vet, and I volunteer with local rescue and spay/neuter groups. Along with our dogs, Molly & Oreo, we are also avid kayakers. We live with Molly, Oreo, two cats, and an Amazon parrot. I'm a proud native southern Californian.My photo was taken in Fiji with Tomba. Tomba is a feral dog that decided to stay with us during our honeymoon. "Tomba" is Fijian for "go away".
